This is a pastel of a lady. It took First Place in a Membership Art Show

This is the beginning stages of an Oil Painting.
When done I plan to enter it into the Ag Show 2011.
I will add progress pictures as I go along.

Since I started the oil above winter arrived. I am now working on a pastel of the same painting:

This is a pastel done on Ampersan board (sanded board)

Here I am painting at our local Coffee Shop, Central Java.
A group of us go there almost every Thursday to paint and talk art.
It is something I look forward to every week.

I made a lot of changes while painting. I ran out of time or
I would have made more changes and fine tuned the painting more.
The last picture is not the final painting.
I had to send it off before I was able to get a picture.
